Aerofly Professional Radio Control Flight Simulator

Even experienced R/C pilots train on this very realistic simulator -
but it is ideal for beginners who don't want to sacrifice too much balsa and equipment while they learn!

The club owns a copy of AeroFly Professional which is available for weekly loan to club members. You will need to provide a refundable deposit of $50 and we ask you to make a small donation for each week that you borrow the simulator. If you would like to borrow the club's copy of AFP, reserve a date by putting your name in the Visitor's Book at the field, and contact John Ellis.

The simulator includes a wide range of models including gliders, slope soarers, jets, petrol and electric; and a range of sceneries including grass and desert fields, slope soaring and hang gliding sites, water and even an aircraft carrier! There are also many new aircraft and sceneries being developed by modellers around the world which can be downloaded over the internet. The club's copy of AeroFly inludes a CD containing some of these extra models.

You will need a fast Pentium-class computer with a graphics card and plenty of memory to run AeroFly satisfactorily. The AeroFly kit includes a standard two-stick Ikarus radio control, but adapter cables are included so that you can use the trainer socket on your own Hitec, JR and Futaba compatible transmitter. AeroFly also requires a free serial or USB port on your PC.
